Dress Code

Proper clothing and shoes are essential to the success of our dance students. Hair must be tied back off the face and no dangly earrings, oversize t shirts or chewing gum are permitted during class.

Girls’ Attire ( All classes :  black leotard)

Preschool 1 : pink tights and pink leather ballet shoes

Preschool 2 : pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes and black patent tap shoes

Combination classes: pink or light tan footed tights, pink leather ballet shoes, and black patent tap shoes

Combination classes with acro: convertible light tan tights, pink leather ballet shoes and black patent tap shoes

Ballet classes: pink tights and pink leather (no canvas) ballet shoes

OPTIONAL for Preschool, Combo and Ballet classes: black or pink dance skirt – no “tutu” style skirts allowed

Acro classes: footless or convertible light tan tights and pink leather ballet shoes

Tap classes: footed or convertible light tan tights and black lace up jazz-tap shoes

Hip Hop classes: convertible light tan tights and black hip hop sneakers

Musical Theater classes: convertible light tan tights and tan* split sole slip on jazz shoes

Jazz and Jumps/Turns classes: convertible light tan tights and tan* split sole slip on jazz shoes

Contemporary and Lyrical Jazz classes: footless light tan tights and tan foot undeez

OPTIONAL for Acro, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Musical Theater classes: tight black shorts or dance pants – no “sweat” type pants allowed

*Tan jazz shoes are a new requirement. To ease the transition to tan jazz shoes, the girls may wear their old black jazz shoes until they outgrow them. Then they can switch to tan. However, everyone will be required to have the tan jazz shoes for our recital this year.

Boys’ Attire         

White plain t shirt and black shorts or sweatpants, black ballet shoes and black lace up tap shoes.
